Color choices are always hard decisions for customers. My job allowed me to infuse color confidence in my clients through expertise, color theory, and simplified explanations. Upon being informed on the In-Home Color Consultation program, my job was to schedule the client, prepare them for my arrival, and follow up with the afterwards.

During the consult the client could expect:

• Give me a tour of their home, show me any inspiration, describe what they wanted to change

• Elimination process: based on key words and descriptions from the home tour, I start with the main color and choose colors I believe would work for the space

• Presentation: after determining a few choices that would work, I present the colors to the client, explaining the undertones of each color presented, and why each one would work in the space.

• Repeat: Elimination and presentation continues as many times as needed for each color needed.

• Creative solutions: Accent colors or unique applications of color are presented while going throughout the space

• Technical program: After colors have been chosen, sheen, products, and quantity are discussed- leaving the customer with a comprehensive color program ready to order.
